Intel has invested more than US$60 million in Yuneec International, a Chinese aviation company and drone maker, as the companies strike up a relationship to develop new products. Intel has previously put money into Airware and PrecisionHawk, but the Yuneec deal marks its largest investment in a drone company. The big chip maker and Yuneec Holding Ltd. plan to collaborate on product development, and Intel chips may be incorporated into future Yuneec drones.
